A-P Fonden 7 fires Ixis for poor performance

Stockholm-based A-P Fonden 7 has sacked France's Ixis Asset Management from a €200m ($267m) European equities mandate. It is the first time the fund has fired a manager for poor investment performance.

Ixis, formerly CDC Ixis Asset Management, had been running the assets for the state-sponsored fund for three years.
