Abbey sells Hutton Collins stake to Capital Z

Abbey, the UK retail bank, has sold its stake in Hutton Collins, the UK mezzanine fund manager, to Capital Z, the alternative investments manager.

Capital Z said it had bought Abbey's existing stake in the fund managed by Hutton Collins for €35m ($44m) and made a new commitment of €40m, bringing total fund commitments to €200m. Capital Z has also assumed Abbey's minority interest in the firm itself.
