Aberdeen Murray Johnstone makes quick exit from oil investment

Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity has sold its minority stake in RFO, a company that cleans oil pipelines, just nine months after financing the management buy-out of the company.

Aberdeen Murray Johnstone has not disclosed how much it made on the deal but said it was consistent with an annualised return of 40%. This rate of return, if sustained, would double the value of an investment over two years.
