Aberdeen SVG raises Carlyle feeder fund

Fund of funds manager raises €120 million feeder vehicle for funds managed by Carlyle Group

Private equity fund of funds manager Aberdeen SVG has raised a new vehicle to invest exclusively in funds managed by global alternatives investor Carlyle Group.

The London-based firm, which was formed in March last year when UK-listed fund of funds manager SVG Capital sold a 50.1% stake in SVG Advisers to Aberdeen Asset Management, said in a statement that it has structured a €120 million vehicle to invest in funds managed by Carlyle.
