ABN Amro Capital snaps up Bols

ABN Amro Capital, the mid-market private equity arm of the Dutch bank, has agreed to acquire a selection of liqueur and spirit brands from Rémy Cointreau in a deal valued at €210m ($250m).

It has teamed up with Huub van Doorne, a former board member of the Rémy Cointreau group, to create Lucas Bols, an independent drinks group with headquarters in Amsterdam.
