ABN Amro has made two more hires in corporate finance industry coverage, showing its determination to expand while other banks trim their numbers during the slowdown.

The bank has recruited John Woolman as a managing director in retail. He was previously a director at Credit Suisse First Boston where his clients included Kingfisher and Tesco.
