ABN Amro in second Irish privatisation

ABN Amro has advised on its second privatisation deal in the Republic of Ireland.

The bank acted for the Irish ministry of finance on the disposal of ICC Bank for €350m ($394m) to Bank of Scotland. ABN Amro has been working hard to expand its franchise beyond its home market in the Netherlands, so this all-British Isles deal will be particularly welcome internally at the investment bank.
