Abrdn sells European private equity business for £60m

Abrdn has offloaded its European-headquartered private equity business to Nasdaq-listed Patria Investments for £60m.

The fund manager has been looking to sell the unit, which oversees £7.5bn in assets under management, since last summer as part of a wider restructuring by chief executive Stephen Bird.
