Ackermann rules out bidding for Swiss banks

Josef Ackermann, chief executive of Deutsche Bank, has ruled out Credit Suisse and UBS as potential merger partners for the German bank.

In an interview with Neue Zürcher Zeitung, the Swiss newspaper, Ackermann said: "Both large Swiss banks are out of the question as potential merger partners."
