Actis launches long-life infrastructure fund

Emerging markets specialist Actis is in talks with investors about raising its first longer-life infrastructure fund, according to a person familiar with the matter, writes William Louch of Private Equity News.

The vehicle will target investments in the energy sector and will have a 15-year fund life — longer than the typical buyout fund life of 10 years — the person added.
