Advent ousts Alexander Mann founder ahead of IPO

James Caan, the founder and chief executive of Alexander Mann Group, has been ousted by Advent International, the global private equity firm that invested £25m (€39m) in the IT search and recruitment outsourcing business.

His departure appears to centre around Advent's plan to create more of a corporate group culture so it can exit its investment in Alexander Mann over the next few years, probably through an initial public offering.
