Aegon poaches corporate bond manager from Britannic

Stephen Jones has quit Glasgow-based Britannic Asset Management to join Edinburgh's Aegon Asset Management as a corporate bond portfolio manager.

Aegon has more than £10bn (€16.4bn) invested in corporate bonds. Jones will join a seven-strong team of managers focused on credit, headed by Daniel McKernan. The remainder of the fixed income team comprises eight fund managers focusing on government debt.
