Aim floats drip through the pipeline

An engineering company has braved the turbulent equity environment to go ahead with a flotation on the London Stock Exchange's junior market today raising £67m (€90m), making it the largest initial public offering in London this year.

Irish-Malaysian-owned Kentz was the seventh float on London's Alternative Investment Market this year. It raised raised £66.7m, 55% more than Quorum Oil and Gas which raised £43m from its flotation on the LSE's main market, the only company to do so this year.
