Alegro expansion boosted by heavyweight hires

Alegro Capital, a London based corporate finance boutique, has hired three advisers, including the former chief executive of BT's mobile phone division, in the latest phase of the company's expansion.

John Carrington, a founding managing director at phone company Cellnet, has joined the firm along with Peter Zühlsdorff, a former chief executive of hair company Wella, and French entrepreneur Jerome Bilet.
