Amadeus bids set to hit record €4bn

Amadeus, the listed software group for the travel industry, has asked four private equity firms to file their second-round bids for the company by the end of the year.

Amadeus, which is listed in Madrid, has a market capitalisation of €3.79bn but could sell for more than €4bn ($5.15bn). This would be a record take-private deal in the Spanish market.
