Nikolay Storonsky looks tired. It could be that last night’s drinks event at Revolut’s Canary Wharf offices has taken its toll.

However, the start-up founder energetically likens his company to a spacecraft. “Not all people are suitable to be in the rocket ship, because you need to be specially trained, you need to have a certain mindset about delivering fast… it’s not for everyone,” he says.
