Allen & Overy provided legal advice to the underwriters assisting easyJet with its decision to raise £419m through share placement, as the airline attempts to shore up its finances following deep coronavirus-induced losses.

The magic circle law firm announced it had advised BNP Paribas and Credit Suisse on their role as the joint bookrunners on the sale of easyJet’s shares. The A&O team was led by corporate partner James Roe and US corporate finance partner Jeff Hendrickson.
