Apax eyes second Israeli buy

European buyout group Apax Partners is reportedly lining up a bid for a stake in Israel-based Bank Leumi Le-Israel, just weeks after agreeing the country’s largest buyout.

Apax is eyeing a 10% stake in Bank Leumi, which is owned by the Israeli government and is expected to be privatised, according to Israeli daily Haaretz.
