Ardian fund poised for final close after hitting $10bn

French private equity house is no longer marketing its secondaries fund as it eyes a March close

Paris-based private equity firm Ardian is nearing a final close on its latest secondaries vehicle, after raising $10 billion in less than a year of fundraising.

The firm, which brought its latest fund to market in May 2015, has collected $10 billion for the vehicle, which was oversubscribed and could have raised as much as $13 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
