Ares Management is seeking to raise around €4.6bn ($5.5bn) for its fourth European direct lending fund, FN's sister publication Private Equity Newsreports.
Filings with the US Securities & Exchange Commission, lodged on April 27, did not specify whether the amount being sought for Ares Capital Europe IV is a target or an upper limit.
