Ashmore, the UK listed emerging markets focused asset manager, faces a potential investor revolt over its pay policy following recommendations to shareholders from two advisory firms.

Institutional Shareholder Services and Glass Lewis, two of the most influential advisers, cited concerns about the structure of Ashmore’s bonus scheme and have recommended investors oppose the group’s remuneration policy at its annual shareholder meeting on 16 October.
