Assets rise to record level at Northern Trust

The fund management arm of Northern Trust, the US bank, has seen its assets rise by 23% in the third quarter to $535bn (€424.2bn) on the back of new mandate wins and improved stock market conditions.

Recent business wins for Northern Trust Global Investments include mandates from the YMCA Pension and Life Assurance Plan in the UK and the St John's Health Center Foundation of Santa Monica in the US.
