AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has appointed Nicolas Moreau as chief executive officer, a post that Donald Brydon has held for the past five years.

Brydon, who will retain his additional role as chairman, has spent the last five years building AXA IM into a profitable investment management business with more than €275bn ($245bn) in assets under management.
