Two portfolio managers have left the UK fund manager, which this week named a new head of its investments in developing economies

Two emerging markets portfolio managers have left Threadneedle to join a rival just a day after the UK fund manager appointed its head of Asia Pacific equities to a new role at the helm of the division.

Julian Thompson, global head of emerging markets, and Jules Mort, a Latin American equity fund manager, have both left the firm for rival fund manager Axa Investment Managers, according to a report in Citywire.
