BAE pumps £350m into pension gap

BAE Systems, which has second-biggest pension deficit in the FTSE 100, this morning unveiled plans to inject £350m (€513m) into the scheme to help close the £2.4bn gap.

The UK defence company said this morning that £240m of the contribution will come from property assets with the remaining £110m coming from cash.
