Salary increases continue in City law despite slowdown fears

Baker McKenzie has boosted salaries for newly qualified lawyers in London to £110,000, sending its junior pay higher than Magic Circle law firms Linklaters and Allen & Overy.

The international law firm has raised pay for its newly qualified lawyers from £105,000 to £110,000 effective 1 July, the firm said in a 12 July statement.
