Bank of America CEO suffers stock award fall

Bank of America's top executive saw the stock portion of his compensation drop 8% in 2006 as compared to a year earlier, as he was awarded $10.8m (€8.2m) in restricted stock.

Bank of America gave its chief executive Ken Lewis, 263,770 shares of the company this year, or $10.8m in restricted stock at $40.85 a share. Last year he received a stock grant worth $11.7m. His full compensation has not yet been released, however.
