Bank of America loses vote on directors

Bank of America shareholders voted yesterday to push the bank to require board members to be elected by a majority vote.

Despite a contrary recommendation by management during the bank's annual meeting, a majority of Bank of America shareholders supported the idea that the bank amend its governing documents to require that director nominees be elected by a majority vote.
