HSBC’s corporate debt team enjoyed a market-leading run in euro bond issues this week, as worries about the US fiscal situation shifted the focus to Europe.

The UK bank captured a share of almost 16% in the euro investment grade corporate market, putting it comfortably ahead of nearest rival Morgan Stanley which had an 11.5% share of issuance, according to Dealogic figures for the week through Thursday.
