Bankers are considered to be three times more trustworthy than politicians and have improved their perception in the public eye in the past three years, a new survey has revealed.

The research, published by pollster Ipsos Mori on November 26, found that of the 1,020 British adults who took part in face-to-face interviews 43% would trust bankers to tell the truth. Meanwhile, only 14% of the public said they would trust politicians.
