One month after Muppetgate and – perhaps more crucially – the appointment of a new head of corporate communications, normally press-shy Lloyd Blankfein took to the airwaves today with two back-to-back interviews on US television.

The chairman and chief executive of Goldman Sachs first appeared on CNBC's Squawk on Street in his first live TV interview in two years: http://www.cnbc.com/id/47174049 , where he was inevitably questioned on the reaction to the famous resignation letter from Greg Smith, which was published in the New York Times.
