Banks earn $53.7m from Google float

Credit Suisse First Boston and Morgan Stanley have been paid almost half the amount in fees expected from the $1.9bn (€1.6bn) flotation of Google, the internet search engine.

Total fees on the Google float were $53.7m, according to Dealogic, the investment banking research provider. This compares with the $108m initially set aside by Google for the banks.
