Barclays Capital has hired Andrew Stonely from Citigroup to be a director in its fast-growing equity derivatives sales team. At Citigroup Stonely was most recently head of UK and Scandinavian equity derivative sales.

Stonely, who was previously at UBS, will be based in London and will be responsible for developing the European equity derivative flow business at the debt-focused investment bank. He will report to Alasdair Hodge, global head of futures and options.
