Barclays hires LeBlanc to oversee risk management

Barclays Capital has hired Robert LeBlanc, a 17-year veteran of JP Morgan, to be head of risk at the UK-based investment bank.

LeBlanc, who was at JP Morgan until 2001, will join Barclays after a brief spell at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW), where he was global head of portfolio management. At Barclays, LeBlanc will have global responsibility for all lines of credit and market risk.
