Baring rubs salt in P&D's wounds

Baring Asset Management has added insult to injury for the departing Tony Dye, investment head of Phillips & Drew, by grabbing a £250m mandate away from the troubled fund manager.

Fresh off last week's loss of a £800m index-linked gilts portfolio from Railpen and the departure of Dye, P&D has been further weakened by the loss of the Staffordshire County Council pension fund mandate.
