Belgium float for Ripplewood's Japanese fund

Ripplewood Holdings, the US private equity group, is to float its $1.2bn (€938m) Japanese buy-out fund in Belgium.

The offer could raise up to €240.65m through the sale of 12.5 million shares priced between €17.25 and €19.25. A further €219.8m is expected from a private placement.
