Berkshire Hathaway sells $760m of Bank of America stock as stake keeps shrinking

Berkshire Hathaway continued its sales of Bank of America shares in recent days, unloading about $760m of stock and dropping its stake in the banking company to $34.7bn.

Berkshire sold 18.7 million shares of Bank of America stock on 3, 4, and 5 September, reducing its interest to 864 million shares, an 11.1% stake, according to Form 4 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission late 5 September. Berkshire received an average price of about $40.55 per share.
