BGI and Gartmore set to lose out at £730m UK fund

The Torfaen County Borough Council in the UK has put more than half its £730m (€1.14bn) Greater Gwent Pension Fund out to tender for specialist active managers.

The various different mandates comprise a £260m active UK equity portfolio, a £80m active European equity portfolio, a £100m active bond mandate and a £50m combined Japan, Pacific Rim and emerging markets active pooled mandate.
