BlackRock assets reach new high of $10.6tn

The world’s largest asset manager gathered almost $140bn of new money during the first half of 2024.

BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, pulled in more than $80bn of new money during the second quarter, helping the New York-based firm increase overall assets under management to a fresh record of $10.6tn.

The asset manager’s second-quarter results, published on 15 July, show BlackRock posted an 8% year-on-year increase in revenue to $4.8bn at the end of June.
