Laurence Fink, chairman and chief executive officer of BlackRock, earned a pay package of $23.9 million in 2014, an increase of about 4% from the previous year, according to a regulatory filing Friday.

Fink, who runs the world's largest asset manager, earned a $9.1 million bonus and $13.6 million in stock compensation, according to the filing. His base salary for the year was $900,000, up from $500,000 in each of the previous two years.
