Let them wear jeans: BlackRock turns casual

BlackRock is getting a bit more casual. The world’s largest money manager by assets, which has long had a business-casual dress code, has told employees that it is relaxing the rules further to allow jeans, according to people familiar with the matter.

The $4.7 trillion money manager is the latest large financial firm to allow employees to wear less formal clothing. JP Morgan said earlier this month that employees could wear business-casual attire rather than formal suits.
