Competition and Markets Authority gives green light to landmark $3.2bn private markets data deal

BlackRock’s takeover of Preqin has been cleared by the UK’s competition watchdog.

The Competition and Markets Authority gave the asset manager’s $3.2bn deal for the private markets data firm the green light on 12 February, according to an update on its website.
