Blackstone and CVC agree £3bn deal for Paysafe

Online payments company Paysafe said today it has reached an agreement to be acquired for £2.96bn ($3.89bn) by private equity groups Blackstone and CVC Capital Partners, the latest big deal in the fast-growing sector.

Blackstone and CVC will pay 590 pence a share for Paysafe, the company said, a month after it announced that the buyout firms had made an approach.
