BNP Paribas profit falls 17%

Shares in BNP Paribas fell on Friday after the bank reported a decline in first quarter revenue and earnings, MarketWatchreports.

BNP Paribas, France's largest listed bank by assets, reported a 17% decrease in net profit to €1.57bn. Revenue was €10.80bn compared with €11.30bn in the same period last year.
