BNP Paribas, the French bank, has hired Edith Aviles de Kostes as a managing director in its leveraged finance group.

De Kostes is joining from DF Hadley & Co, an investment and merchant bank in Los Angeles, where she has worked since 2003, responsible for the origination and execution of private equity placements and corporate finance advisory services.
