Boston Options Exchange appoints new chairman

The Boston Options Exchange, the all-electronic US equity derivatives market, has appointed a former banker at Goldman Sachs as its new chairman after recruiting a chief executive from the bank four months ago.

Peter Layton was most recently a a managing director at Goldman Sachs and was a partner at Hull Trading Company
