BP Amoco has rejected four shareholders' social and environmental demands, on grounds that the wording in the resolutions filed is "inappropriate".
The four resolutions - on climate change strategy, policy towards oil exploration in the Arctic, human rights policy and disinvestment from China - were lodged by coalitions of non-governmental organisations and social investors at the end of January.
