Brainpower revenues drop as e-broking contracts expire

Brainpower, a provider of buyside analytics, attribution and decision support products, reported a 27% fall in income for the first quarter of this year, largely due to contracts in the retail electronic brokerage sector coming to an end.

Revenues for the quarter were €1.4m ($1.6m), down from €1.9m a year earlier. The net loss improved to €1.9m from €2.2m, partly due to a cost-cutting programme.
