Brexit hits mid-market M&A in the UK and Ireland

Brexit uncertainty continues to impact the decisions of international buyers

The number of mid-market deals rose globally in the second quarter of the year, except in the UK and Ireland, a study has found.

M&A deals in the UK and Ireland dipped in the period, down to 292 deals, a decrease of 9.5% compared to the previous quarter, according to the latest Global Acquirer Trends report published by mid-market M&A firm Livingstone.
