Bridgepoint pulls sale of OyezStraker

Bridgepoint Capital, the European mid-market private equity house, has pulled the £90m (€145m) sale of its portfolio company OyezStraker, the office supplies firm, because it could not agree on price with the buyer, UK private equity firm ECI Ventures.

A source close to the deal said that ECI Ventures walked away from the deal. ECI was nervous about the economy and the prospects for the sector, and the price of £90m was above ECI's usual deal size of up to £50m, the source said.
